Waste consists of different compositions and origins; it is categorized in the Waste Catalogue Ordinance (AVV) into corresponding waste types.
The AVV defines unambiguous waste designations, and at the same time classifies wastes according to their respective waste hazards.

08 01 12 - waste paint and varnish other than those mentioned in 08 01 11
08 01 14 - paint or varnish sludges other than those mentioned in 08 01 13
08 01 16 - aqueous sludges containing paint or varnish other than those mentioned in 08 01 15
08 01 99 - wastes from MFSU and paint and varnish removal/wastes not otherwise specified
